Plan your visit

Getting tattooed
at DietschVision.

Everything you need to know before you come in: walk-ins, booking, what to bring, pricing and aftercare. DietschVision Tattoo Gallery is at 5434 Hixson Pike in Hixson, TN, open Tuesday–Saturday, noon to 8. Walk-ins are welcome whenever an artist is free; for custom work, book a quick consult.

How it works

From idea to ink.

Bring your idea

Walk in or send the form with a rough idea, size and placement. Clear concept or loose sketch. Both are fine. We draw it up with you.

Meet your artist

We match you to the right hand in the shop, talk through the design, and give you an honest estimate before anything starts.

Get it done right

Clean stations, private rooms, and a crew with 50+ years between them. We walk you through aftercare before you leave.

Walk-ins or appointments?

Both. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Saturday whenever an artist is open. Flash is on the wall and ready when you are. For anything custom or larger, booking a consult means you get the artist, time and design you want with no waiting around.

What to bring

A valid government-issued photo ID (you must be 18 or older, no exceptions), your idea or reference images, and a rough sense of size and placement. Eat beforehand, hydrate, and wear something that gives easy access to the spot you're tattooing.

What it costs

Pricing depends on size, detail and placement, so we quote each piece individually. Send your idea and we'll give you an honest estimate up front, never a surprise at the end.

After your appointment

Tattoo aftercare,
step by step.

A new tattoo is an open wound. Treat it like one. Here's the short version your artist will walk you through in person.

Leave the wrap on

Keep the bandage your artist applied on for as long as they instruct. It protects fresh ink while it settles.

Wash gently

Clean with lukewarm water and a fragrance-free soap, then pat (don't rub) dry with a clean paper towel.

Moisturize thin

Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment or unscented lotion a couple of times a day. More is not better.

Protect it

No pools, no soaking baths and no direct sun while it heals. Don't pick or scratch the scabs.

Check in if unsure

Healing should be smooth. If anything looks off, call the shop. We'd rather you ask.

Quick answers

Common questions.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both work. Walk-ins are welcome Tuesday through Saturday whenever an artist is free. Flash is on the wall and ready to go. For larger or custom pieces, book a consult so you get the artist, the time and the design you want.

How much will my tattoo cost?

Price depends on size, detail and placement, so the honest answer is: it varies. Send us your idea with a rough size and body location and we'll give you a straight estimate before any needle touches skin.

How old do I have to be?

You must be 18 or older with a valid government-issued photo ID. No exceptions and no guardian waivers. Bring your ID every time.

What should I do before my appointment?

Eat a real meal, stay hydrated, get a good night's sleep and skip the alcohol the night before. Wear comfortable clothing that gives the artist easy access to the area you're getting tattooed.

How do I take care of a healing tattoo?

Keep the bandage on as long as your artist tells you, then wash gently with unscented soap, pat dry and apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment. Keep it out of direct sun, pools and long soaks until it's fully healed.
